Meet Our Orthodontic Team Pittsburgh & Allison Park, PA

Sara joined our office in July 2023, and enjoys being part of a team where everyone is friendly and willing to help each other succeed. She attended PSU for a degree in employee relations, human resources and psychology, and has also completed a leadership training program through Scheyers. Sarah is dedicated to keeping our office organized and staying in touch with patients to accommodate their needs for their appointments.

In her spare time Sarah enjoys volleyball and being outdoors.

Elaine has been with us since 2017. She values the camaraderie among the staff and considers the team her second family. Her role allows her to contribute through building and nurturing relationships, solving problems and helping patients better understand their treatment options.

Outside of work, Elaine enjoys life on her small farm, where she lives with her three dogs, 14 hens and a rooster named Hank. She is excited to soon welcome sheep to the mix. Elaine also cherishes time with her family, including her two daughters and four active granddaughters.

Since joining the practice in August 2021, Brea has brought more than 25 years of experience in the dental industry. Her passion lies in helping patients achieve life-changing results, and she takes great pride in contributing to the amazing smiles that define the Smiles By Smith experience. In her leadership role, Brea is dedicated to creating a positive and organized environment where fun and efficiency go hand in hand. She plays a vital role in the daily flow of the office, inspiring both team members and patients through her upbeat approach and attention to detail.

Outside the practice, Brea enjoys a full and joyful life with her husband Josh, their two sons and three beloved dogs, Apollo, Kane and April. Her favorite pastimes include swimming, spending quality time with her family and caring for her pets.

Branda joined the practice in September of 2023, bringing with her nine years of dental experience. She completed her dental assisting education at Career Training Academy in 2016 and has since developed strong skills in patient care and clinical support. Branda enjoys the collaborative environment of the office and contributes with her efficiency, patience and in-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures.

Outside of work, Branda enjoys spending time with her family. She married her husband Mike in 2017, and together they have a son. Her favorite way to unwind is simply hanging out with her loved ones.

Sofia graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in biochemistry. She joined our practice in June 2025 and enjoys being part of a welcoming and supportive team that provides excellent patient care and creatin confident smiles. Sofia always stives to create a welcoming and positive environment so that patients feel at ease and enjoy a comfortable stress-free experience during their visits.

During her free time, Sofia enjoys working out and attending Solidcore classes.

We welcomed Meredith to our team in February 2024. She is a Board-Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with a strong commitment to patient care. Meredith takes pride in helping patients transform their smiles and is known for her compassion, efficiency and dedication to making each visit a positive experience.

Originally from Florida, Meredith enjoys spending time with her husband Jim and their son. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, gardening, watching football and spending time out on the water boating.

Lily grew up and received her dental training in Toledo, Ohio. She initially began her career in Toledo, and worked in both general and orthodontic offices before joining our team in August 2024, bringing with her over seven years of experience. She appreciates the teamwork, friendliness and family feeling of Smiles By Smith Orthodontics, and appreciates how Dr. Smith leads the office and his commitment to wanting us all to succeed together. Lily works hard to be thorough with parents and children to help them understand their treatments, and gives each patient the respect she would want to receive herself.

Lily and her partner, Kyle, moved to Pittsburgh in summer 2024. They have two fur babies named Daisy and Potato. They love the atmosphere and culture of Pittsburgh and plan to set our roots here. Smiles By Smith Orthodontics has allowed Lily to have a second family here!

Emily joined the team in April of 2024, bringing over 10 years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from A.W. Beattie Career Center in 2013 and has worked in many offices throughout her career. Emily proudly considers Smiles By Smith Orthodontics the best by far! She values the opportunity to work with a supportive group of women, Dr. Smith and a wonderful patient base. She brings a positive attitude and the ability to stay focused and productive, even on the busiest days.

Outside the office, Emily enjoys her role as a devoted dance and cheer mom. She and her husband have three daughters and are expecting their fourth child soon. Supporting her children and spending quality time with family is her greatest joy.

Emma became a part of our office in July of 2024. She completed her dental assisting education at Somerset County Technology Center in 2019 and brings a warm, team-focused approach to her work. Emma appreciates the family-like atmosphere at the office and is known for her positive attitude and willingness to help wherever she is needed.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband Josh and their two children. She loves exploring new foods and traveling, always looking for the next adventure to share with her family.

Lauren graduated from Ohio State in May 2025 with a degree in biochemistry, and is currently applying to dental school. She joined our team in June 2025, bringing her high energy and bubbly personality to help our patients have positive experiences. Lauren enjoys being part of a close-knit team and appreciates the advice Dr. Smith offers.

Outside the office, Lauren works at Carnivores in Oakmont on the weekends and loves doing anything crafty.
